Virgin Voyages’ official terms explain that each sailor in an eligible cabin receives 35% off the retail base voyage fare. For two sailors:

  • Sailor 1 receives 35% off
  • Sailor 2 receives 35% off
  • The combined discount equals 70% of one sailor’s base fare

This is not a completely free second sailor. It is also not 70% off only the second person.

For example, if the base voyage fare is $1,000 per person:

  • Regular base fare: $1,000 per sailor
  • Discounted base fare: $650 per sailor
  • Total discounted base fare: $1,300 for two sailors

Taxes, fees, gratuities, and optional purchases may be added separately. Your final price will depend on the sailing, cabin category, fare type, and availability.

Depending on the ship, the upgrade may be to:
